Relief and development programs in Lebanon for refugees

MEET WISSAM

“At first, I used to think I was helping these people, but then I found out that they are really helping me. I am learning so many things through them!
Our church is currently helping more than 100 families every month and we’ve been doing it for four years. My phone has 8,053 contacts and even though I don’t remember all the names and all the numbers I do remember the stories and the families. I’ve seen that when God puts someone in my way that He wants me to take care of, He gives me the heart and the resources to do it.
If I could tell the people who have donated anything, I’d tell them: You cannot even imagine the significance of your donation and how much it meant to the people! It’s not so much what you gave in terms of money but what you gave in terms of hope. You have made these people feel loved and cared for. And that is worth anything!”

You cannot even imagine the significance of your donation and how much it meant to the people! It’s not so much what you gave in terms of money but what you gave in terms of hope.
