agriculture project in Syria

MEET GHASSAN

“With the raging war in Syria and many incidents in my village, most of the farmers abandoned their land. I understand them but I could never possibly abandon my land! I believe that the owner of the field is not the one who inherits it from his father, but the one who does not give it up when things get difficult.
On one day, a landmine planted by armed groups in my land exploded, and I was seriously wounded, as well as several members of my family. My feet were completely destroyed in the explosion. But I refused amputation and after very long and heavy suffering, I was able to move my legs again and return to my field.
I am deeply thankful for this new agriculture project in Syria that I have been responsible for. We did not dream something like this could happen. This project will help the entire community and gave us a new hope in the future.
We had the land, the water, and the necessary expertise. All it needed was this first push you gave us!”

We did not dream something like this could happen. This agriculture project will help the entire community and give us a new hope in the future. We had the land, the water, and the necessary expertise. All it needed was this first push you gave us!
