MEET PASTOR AMAL

“When my wife and I started serving in our building, it wasn’t a church at all. We noticed the tension between the Syrian refugees and the Lebanese community here, and we perceived that the refugees were living in very difficult circumstances. We felt we were one family with them and wanted to help restoring their hope and dignity as humans. Most of them used to live in very good conditions in Syria!
When we started to distribute food and winter assistance, it showed them our love. And visiting them as friends helped us build authentic relationships with them. They were very happy and it made a huge difference in their lives.
One of the refugees told me, “Those food vouchers filled my house with food more than any other help because they were blessed.”
Our small contribution is both a moral and material support and the people we serve really need it to go on with their lives and start having hope in the future again.”

We felt we were one family with them and wanted to help restoring their hope and dignity as humans. Most of them used to live in very good conditions in Syria!
