Since October 7, as a direct consequence of the conflict in Gaza,
worrying tensions simmers in South Lebanon, where cross-border shelling persists, occasionally resulting in civilian casualties and damage to crops and property.
Over 46,000 people have been displaced from towns and villages near the border. We are supporting them with basic needs assistance, such as food, mattresses and blankets, and hygiene items.
